It must be very strange to be President Bush John Hinderaker. A man of extraordinary vision lunacy and brilliance wrongheadedness approaching to genius dementia, he can’t get anyone to notice stage an intervention. He is like a great painter or musician street person shouting at a bus stop who is ahead of his time off his meds, and who unveils one masterpiece absurd leap of logic after another to a reception that, when not bored amused, is hostile appalled.
The Rocketman provides a ….um ….unique observation about the shootings in Colorado:
The man who shot up a training center for missionaries and a church in suburban Denver, killing four people and wounding a number of others, has been identified:
A law enforcement official says the deadly rampages at a megachurch and a missionary training school were believed to have been carried out by the same person—Matthew Murray, a 24-yeare-old suburban Denver man who "hated Christians."
It is perhaps worth noting that the toll in Sunday’s shootings exceeded the combined total in all "hate crimes" against Muslims in the six years since September 11.
Okay. I’ll bite.
At first blush, this seems like a complete non sequitor He’s obviously talking about killing Muslims in America and is not including the tens of thousands of innocent Iraqis that we have killed and continue to kill ever since we invaded their country post-9/11 even though they had nothing to do with 9/11. That’s what he’s talking about.
Crazy: it’s the new Esperanto.

Oh. My God. TBogg.
Didn’t you know that the Iraqis invited us? Of course you didn’t, because you are so blinded by your hate of Bush, America and the troops that you can’t see straight.
Those Iraqis wanted us to bring in 10’s of thousands of mercenaries to murder, rape and pillage, I mean, they asked for it, right?
And just so you know, one Christian life is worth, like 287 Muslim lives. Sheesh, president genius is out saving the world and you can’t come up with something nice to say about dead people who were shot at a building that houses some of the most hateful people on the planet.
Nooooo it’s all snark to you.
As g said @ Sadly, No!: Except for the Sikhs killed by patriots too stupid to know the difference.
Matthew Murray.
Of the Tehran Murrays.
Christian hating Muslims, the lot of them.
No wonder they’re next.
Zen thought for the day:
Could John Hinderaker come up with a philosophy so brutally violent and cataclysmically stupid that even he could not express it?
Matthew Murray, an extremely devout Christian, from an extremely devout Christian home-schooling family (his brother goes to Oral Roberts, I believe), who had attended the missionary school but did not finish due to ‘health problems’ which have been, so far, unnamed but can probably be imagined.
His father is a well known neurologist specializing in MS, which is how I know who he is.
Good luck spinning that this kid ‘hated Christians.’ I think they’re going to need a better poster boy for the anti-Christian hate crime terrorist that they’re all praying for, cuz this kid ain’t it.
Did Assrocket actually read the rest of the article?
Here, I’ll help…
Em’s are mine. Hmmm… yeah, he was anti-christian all right. Absolutely no chance it was a Jeebus freakout or anything, nope.
If I went to a church that had a membership of 6, 8, 10,000 people, and I got sick and had to go to the hospital, would the good pastor stop in to visit me while I was in hospital? How about if I give him $50?
It’s not like they ain’t been trying, but Ay-rabs is so sneaky.
Hard to find at Denny’s. Mixin’ in with th Mexicans and all.
Think of it in light of the recent Dinesh “dem atiest debbils lub them sum” D’Souza piece about how athiests are “angry”. These losers can’t imagine a world in which they and their concerns are not paramount. And, naturally, those who do not agree can’t simply hold opposing viewpoints, we have to actively hate them for…what? Their innate goodness? This is an old game, going back centuries. Demonize the other side by projecting your own worst traits onto them.
Crazy: it’s the new Esperanto.
Except it has a lot more speakers (including several million for whom it is a first language).
God told me to clean my gun…
TBogg, for the love of the Goddess PLEASE take down that image of hindrocket deep throating that – whatever it is! I can’t bear to have that image in my head!
It’s like George Carlin says: “The more devout the person, the more killing becomes negotiable”
“Guns don’t kill Christians, Christians kill Christians! Uh, waitaminit…”
“…It is perhaps worth noting…” — that line is destined to be come a classic.
But really, isn’t this just a sign of our healthy newfound philosophy? We use the government for the heavy lifting, the big, awkward jobs, the genocides, if you will. And then we leave it up to entrepreneurs like Mr. Murray to do the small niche jobs, the boutique killings, that balance the books and make it possible for people like the Powerline wankers to claim that Christians are really the victims.
And so, while General Patreus is doing yeoman’s work in Iraq killing muslims on our tax dollar, Mr. Murray merely took it upon himself to even the score for the righteous crowd — and like a true free-market compassionate Christian, he did it for free, most likely expecting his reward in some other form — perhaps a gig as 2nd amendment adviser to the Huckabee campaign?
Why do I get the feeling that the modern GOP believes that Earth, Wind & Fire is a subsidiary of Blackwater?
Oh yeah baby.
Take that corndog.
Take it now.
“Matthew Murray, an extremely devout Christian, from an extremely devout Christian home-schooling family (his brother goes to Oral Roberts, I believe), who had attended the missionary school ….
….Good luck spinning that this kid ‘hated Christians.’ “
I dunno, sounds like he has better reasons than most.
Not for nothing, but the shooter was christian homeschooled.
Maybe it didn’t prepare him to deal with the world outside his home? Little rigid, maybe?
Just a thought.
Maybe Captain Corndog mistook the kid for Christopher Hitchens.
Every time I see that picture of Assrocket, it makes me wonder why I spent 12 hours a day studying for the Bar. They must let anyone join in MN.
Hoky smokes, TBogg! If that was supposed to be a reference to Bullwinkle J. Moose and Rocket J. Squirrel, you got it bassackwards!
