TSOL! Great great band…but ya gotta be careful as there were two versions of TSOL, one I recommend (the Original TSOL) and one I never listened to and can’t say.

I highly recommend anything off the aforementioned Beneath The Shadows, Dance With Me, and TSOL (1st ep).

Dance With Me is less melodic than BTS but more powerful.

Check out “Code Blue” — “I wanna fuck the dead!”

I recognize TSOL but can not remember which songs. I will open up Limewire tonight. As Tom points out, Agent Orange is great. I got turned onto them by their Pipeline cover. My two newest favorites are The Distillers and The Riverboat Gamblers. It is a shame I cannot go and just by CDs by bands like that. I will have to make a trip to a special CD store in town or order.

dbati , I have not surfed since I was a kid, and only a few times then, but I love watching big wave stuff. I used to stream Mav’s competition all the time, but missed it this year. Flea’s wipeout was epic! The guy is like a drunk in a car accident- he just doesn’t seem to get hurt. I have not made it to Half Moon Bay when in SF, but plan to make it priority next time. Of course, I hope to move there one day and join my hippie brothers! If you get in a car wreck, make sure that diaper is clean!

As for being late to the party, that’s just the way I roll at these FR10’s. I’ve been late to the party for a long time over at the old place, and now here, at the new “improved” place.

BTW: That Mav’s surf footage on your site is amazing. I’ve a buddy who’s been surfing out there since the early 90’s. He was one of the first (other than Clark, or course) to regularly ride.
