A bomb goes of in Rawalpindi effectively killing the Country Fred Lazytime Blogburst Jamboree. Citizen journalists mass to cover the event (the one in Pakistan, not the demise of Fredmentum) and a thousand Risk boards are unfolded and studied. Meanwhile, the tragedy allows a certain commentator to put off working on that term paper that he was supposed to turn in before going on Christmas break having instead spent his time practicing writing his name at the top.

The sad thing is that it didn’t take but 30 minutes before the usual idiots (on a, typically, non-political message board that I frequent) to start in with calls for going in to stabilize Pakistan. And that Iraq didn’t work because the politicians fight the wars now, not the generals. And that if the US went total war on Pakistan like we should have in Iraq, the place will be free for democracy.

Wow, that blog is definitely Jonah at his best–more insightful and accurate than I’ve ever seen him before. I have to say, I’m impressed.
I agree. Jonah has clearly learned that, if brevity be the soul of wit, then the less he says, the better.
Has he tried Jonah Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt?
Or Jonah Jacob As…wipe?
I believe that is pronounced ass we pay
It’s a shame the font doesn’t show those little circles he sometimes likes to use for dotting the i’s.
