Lord. Where does Hugh Hewitt find these guys? Patrick Ruffini:
Lost in all the commentary about the crying game was another pivotal moment — perhaps the pivotal moment — in Hillary Clinton’s turnaround: two unidentified men yelling "Iron my shirt!" at the candidate the night before the election.
[...]
So when those guys hoisted the "Iron my shirt" signs, Clinton had an answer already teed up: "Ah, the remnants of sexism, alive and well." I don’t deny that sexist sentiment against HRC exists. I’ve seen it in more places than I’d like to online. But does anyone else find it convenient that this only surfaced the day before the New Hampshire primary, with the campaign in well-documented desperate straights, in the middle of a bid to humanize (and feminize) the candidate? In a way that perfectly contextualized the vulnerability ("some of us… put ourselves out there…") HRC displayed earlier that day?
Has anyone found these guys? Interviewed them? Let me just say that I would not be terribly surprised if they were members of a union that endorsed HRC, or if there was a photo of them with Hillary paraphenalia at a past event.
Just sayin’…
Five seconds. It took me five seconds to find out the question that keeps Ruffini up at night as well as preventing him from using the google.
I think this perfectly contextualizes the fact that Ruffini is kind of, you know, an idiot.
Just sayin’.. .

Why waste a perfectly good “what if” smear of Hillary by doing research on his question? He’d only have to spend more time making up something else to delude his readers with. It’s not like the truth really matters when your paid to disinform.
Yeah, well, Ruffini used to run the RNC web operation. He’s kind of a naif about ratfucking and the internets.
Ruffini now has an update that shows he has had some slight contact with reality. I think the Western Union boy delivered a telegram to let him know that there was new information on the “Iron My Shirt” guys. And what is this “Google” that you speak of?
Has the Republican party fallen so far that this is the best conspiracy theory they can come up with? My God, man, this is the woman they said killed Vince Foster. And now it’s down to planting sign-wielders in the audience. This isn’t the kind of lunacy isn’t going to get HuckMittMacRudyFred elected. Step it up!
They’re attracted by his tits?
(please don’t post that piture again)
Like water and oil, baby, like water and oil. The Townhall clown posse and facts will never mix it up.
Isn’t Teh Google just another one of those seditious liberal plots entirely devoted to bringing down good conservative blogs — you know, like Scoop, arch-nemesis of Eric the Red?
Doesn’t Ruffini realize how badly his remarks reflect on stupid people everywhere?
Ah but stupid people don’t reflect. In any definition of the word.
Actually, stupidity is so pervasive in this world that Ruffini is s stictly a minor league moron. So I’m sure he looks up to Huge Halfwit as a role model.
Famously, I once commented to my ex-wife that I could iron better than she could. Since that very moment I have ironed my own shirts, and I do not miss my ex-wife.
And my shirts look good!
Malkin played the “Hillary Did It!” card on this one too:
She has added updates, unlike the dumbfounded Mr. Ruffini.
If the New Hampshire election had occurred in a foreign country, the U.S. would not honor it because the “unadjusted” exit polls were 8 points off from the final vote totals.
There is a REAL problem here and yet the Wingtards are so drunk on US Gov’t Kool Aid they aren’t paying any attention.
Of course, this is true of the Left Gatekeeping set, as well…
That sticks in my craw too. Dramatically off exits of recent elections? Ohio in 04, Florida 00 Both proven fraudulent.
Those Wingtards with sufficient intellectual honesty acknowledge the electoral fraud on behalf of the GOP 00/02/04/06, and they perhaps assume that any such electoral fraud in 08 involving hackable machines will again favor the GOP Prez candidate.
Such an assumption would be naive, as New Hampshire has shown (and no, I’m not a Co-Incidence Theorist, but thanks for asking).
It ain’t about D or R — it’s about clean elections in an alleged democracy.
Is it irresponsible to speculate?
It is irresponsible not to.
Ruffini is kind of, you know, an idiot the way Hitler was kind of, you know, a Nazi.
that “Read More” icon when there is no more post to read is odd
tbogg, does townhall block your trackbacks when you link to their site?
Still, Ruffini’s a step ahead of Mona Charen at the Corner, who was still suspicious (and Google-free) a day later.
Just sayin’…
