Yes, Beckham is getting a little soft around the back end. But give him a break, it’s just that 10 pounds of holiday ham we all pack on….okay, that, as usual, is a mother talking.
And I’m getting tired of Tbogg’s portrayals of Beckham as the surly one. Ask him what happens at night if he attempts to move the “sainted” Satchmo in the bed. There is danger of actual blood being drawn.
Of course we are thinking about adding a third dog to the pack when Casey comes home for the summer and I keep saying that Beckham will eat it…..he IS a little jealous where I’m concerned. What’s a mother to do.

Was thinking the same thing…the vet/spa diet seems to be wearing off? He looks nice and soft though, like our big old soft beagle now departed. Her excuse was a thyroid problem though.

I do love basset blogging. They manage to make my 2 cats look positively energetic… even when they’re sleeping.
