I just want to point out that these shots were taken less than an hour after the bed was made.

OMG, I was so confused when I saw the pics of Satchmo–I have the same bedspread and similar pillowcases and headboard! I was like “there’s a basset in my bed!!???”

Interesting how Satch’s jowls respond to the massive G forces of his high speed maneuvering. Looks like those films from the 50s of those guys riding the rocket sleds.
Bassets aren’t the most athletic canines around, so how do they get up on the bed in the first place? You didn’t get them stairs did you?
Yes. We did.
I always have a Basset in my bed. And mine is pretty athletic–they can run and jump pretty well. Those are shoulders Schwarzenegger
would kill for.
Then I have no reason for being self conscious about the stairs I built for our Norwichs. Thanks.
