You mean pre-Goldwater days, I think. That’s when the first signs of trouble can be spotted, in hindsight. There was Ronnie as California Governor (My dad said he was the worst thing to ever happen to Cal., but dad didn’t live to see the Governator…), then Tricky Dick, then Prez. Ronnie, Bush the First, the Newticles in Congress, and, of course, the Cheney Administration…

Here’s a quote from a long time, old style republican I know:

I’m assuming he’s referring to a set of core values from the pre-saint Ronnie days, but I could be wrong. The current set of core values are on plain display with Limpballs and the rest of the hatermedia, and it looks like people are getting tired of that crap; except for the base of course.

The truly terrifying part about the participants in the “culture of hate” is that they believe everything those assclowns spout. Hannity just spent his first forty minutes slamming McCain. He was insensed by the so called dirty trick played on Romney by Huckabee and McCain. He also lamented the fact that Dobson waited til today to sy no McCain, not now, not ever.

Now, I don’t know what game they are playing but this intra mural skirmish is highly entertaining.
