What about Linda Tripp? Didn’t she do her yeoman work in tearing down all that feminism had managed to build?

where is her .. umm … face in the pantheon of the great “Feminist Busters?”

I mean, was there a better character on SNL during the great Clenis debacle than than John Goodman’s Linda Tripp?

God, I’m glad the ‘net didn’t exist when I was keeping a journal full of my adolescent whining, and that I have sense enough not to do all that online now. Althouse is a great example of how embarrassing that would be.

Is AA really in high-dudgeon over the fact that the Clintons killed feminism?
Or is she secretly miffed that, of all the lardacious, femmes whose lust for power knows no bounds, The Big Dog fell for an unsophisticated, undereducated, underachieving tart, who wasn’t even blonde? Freud would have had a field day!

On a more serious note, Ann Althouse apparently never learned the one secret every successful woman knows: If you wait around for men–or other women–to “empower” you, it will be a damn long wait.

Brooklyn was a temporary thing; apparently it was some sort of fellowship-sabbatical-thingy, although the refusal of a certain Park Slope Starbucks to open in a timely-enough fashion for La Althouse may have also been a factor.

Here’s what I want to know about Ms Althouse. How does one get to be a law professor in Madison WI, and yet live in Brooklyn? Maybe if she had a job she had to DO everyday she would have less time to worry about other peoples marriages.
