I’m pissed that it was an illegal that T-boned that bus. Back when I was a lad, we Americans had the native know-how to trigger automotive calamities on our own. Remember that drunk Tennessee driver who crossed the interstate median and rammed a church van in the 1980s, burning six or seven children alive? Read between the lines. Drunk. Tennessee. Wanna bet he was listening to the Grand Ole Opry and not some Spanish-language cassette tape? Maybe Michelle would rather we shipped our school buses to India to have them rammed there.

They’ve consistently done their bit to screw people like that kid, so now they’re all born again for the seventy seconds it took me to read that piece? And Malkin? Well, the same same there. *Lee Harvey Oswald (he went to Cuba, he must have been Cuban!)

Have you noticed that the two defining characteristics of people who are “conservatives” (and this applies across the board to talk shows, blogs, columnists, etc.) are:

1. Anger
2. Ugliness

I think it was Freud who said that anger is transmuted fear. And the conservative meme is always that they are under attack from the ruthless dark forces of illegal immigrants, socialists, liberals, gays, brown people, feminists, whatever. Be afraid, be very afraid.

Thus, their ruling message is always that it’s such a dangerous world that they must be utterly ruthless (i.e. ugly) in dealing with those dark forces. Whatever it takes - torture, illegal wiretaps, no habeas corpus, swiftboating children, secret renditions - because when you are as afraid as they are, there are no limits on what you can do to defend yourself.

The “C” in conservative stands for “coward”.
