So how’d that big Rally for the Recruiters go yesterday? Eh, not so big.
If that doesn’t embolden the enemy, nothing will…
From the GOE website (http://gatheringofeagles.org/2008/03/09/nyc-rain-is-proof-that-god-loves-the-infantry/)
Jenny Booth of Connecticut wrote:
“Slowly, the crowds gathered in and by 1:00pm, we had a great size- maybe 60 people.” “At the peak of the rally I would estimate we had perhaps more than 120 people hanging around and expressing support.”
Elyse Buongiorno wrote:
“A group varying between 40-50 people made it a bright sunny day and were acknowledged by a fleet of 15 NYPD cars honking as they came by.”
From the video, I’m thinking 40 is being generous. Perhaps they think pigeons are small eagles.
Doesn’t look like they have God on their side.
So where did they hide the Porta-potties?
It takes a lot of gall to say you support the troops by leaving them abandoned in Iraq indefinitely. They could give a rat’s ass about the troops or the people of Iraq. What they do support is whatever folly their Boy-king decrees. If he said we had to go to Jupiter to fight Al-Qaeda and bring ‘em democracy, these idiots would hold a demonstration supporting that mission.
They were all wet long before a drop of rain fell…
Now that’s funny!
I’ve been on an elevator with more eople than that.
