Part of the fun of reading Tbogg is trying to figure out the references (that is not a criticism, it really is fun). My problem is exacerbated because about half of the websites referenced are blocked “unaccessible” where I live in China.

Anyone offer translation services from Tbogg into old guy?

There is a theme for annoying rightists. They are incurious, myopic and inflexible. I wonder if thats in deference to bush.
It appears from reading her a little bit she does not even comprehend the criticism of her hypocrisy. Amazing. Instead of blogging for Atlantic, she should be selling it at a bus stop.

the comment thread on that piece is unreal. I kept waiting for one of the brainless Krugman-haters to start arguing that economy was in terrific shape and that the subprime crisis was just some liberal media bullshit invented by Krugman.
