Just a suggestion:
Maybe we could wrap this whole Democratic nomination marathon up by having the candidates announce their choices for their running mates. I'm sure that might be some downside to this, but it can't be any worse than what we're seeing now. That way, whoever picks Joe Lieberman can be eliminated.
And don't give me that crap about how they haven't decided on one yet. Anyone who has been thinking and then running for President for the past several years and doesn't have an idea of who they would to join them on the ticket doesn't deserve the job.

Sounds good to me. A general election without a Republican candidate is all to the good.
“Gore/Edwards 08″ Michael Corleone for AG

Doesn’t John Kerry disprove that notion? You are right about the Lieberman part.
And how do you explain Dan Quayle? Oops, maybe he was on the search committee.
but… but… i thought obama and hillary were supposed to embrace each other at the last possible minute and declare their joint ticket for ‘08?!? It’d be like make-up sex, only hotter. Lots of mea culpas and promises to change. With her looks and his talent it’d be a sure winner… no, wait.
Clinton/Biden (I’d crawl on broken glass to avoid the polls if that is what I have as a “choice”).
I’m pretty sure Richardson is going to be Obama’s choice. And it’s a good one, since he’ll help carry the southwest and the deep south. Although it’ll be a Hispanic and a Black on the same ticket, which will drive the right winger racists crazy.
Wait, they probably don’t even know that Bill Richardson is Hispanic. Not with a name like Richardson. You know, he could pass if he wanted to.
There’s no “tie” to be broken.
What Clinton is doing is sort of like what would have happened if Eckersley had tried to tackle Gibson as he circled the bases. Only delaying the inevitable and looking like a spoilsport in the process.
Here’s what my magic 8-ball tells me. We have the rest of the primaries during which, or closely following, the undecided superdelegates begin commit themselves. This pushes Obama over the threshold (by then he should only need 50-75 of the little devils).
Some kind of agreement is then arrived at regarding Michigan and Florida (halfsies or whatever) which removes the remaining obstacle to Clinton’s graceful exit.
[W]hoever picks Joe Lieberman can be eliminated.
Are you suggesting that if it’s Hillary versus McCain, they may both pick the same running mate?
