Here’s what my magic 8-ball tells me. We have the rest of the primaries during which, or closely following, the undecided superdelegates begin commit themselves. This pushes Obama over the threshold (by then he should only need 50-75 of the little devils).

Some kind of agreement is then arrived at regarding Michigan and Florida (halfsies or whatever) which removes the remaining obstacle to Clinton’s graceful exit.

There’s no “tie” to be broken.

What Clinton is doing is sort of like what would have happened if Eckersley had tried to tackle Gibson as he circled the bases. Only delaying the inevitable and looking like a spoilsport in the process.

I’m pretty sure Richardson is going to be Obama’s choice. And it’s a good one, since he’ll help carry the southwest and the deep south. Although it’ll be a Hispanic and a Black on the same ticket, which will drive the right winger racists crazy.

Wait, they probably don’t even know that Bill Richardson is Hispanic. Not with a name like Richardson. You know, he could pass if he wanted to.

And don’t give me that crap about how they haven’t decided on one yet. Anyone who has been thinking and then running for President for the past several years and doesn’t have an idea of who they would to join them on the ticket doesn’t deserve the job.

Doesn’t John Kerry disprove that notion? You are right about the Lieberman part.
