Basset puppies are always adorable. I’m firmly on the rescue side myself; all 4 of our Bassets have been rescues (no, not 4 at once, 4 total. We’re not completely insane.) I too hope he follows Satchmo, and not the dark side. I’m curious about the name, though, since I thought you were naming them after soccer players now (my memory is that Satchmo was one of a series of jazz musicians).
