sigh. i just come here for the bassets now.
I am now convinced that Mark Penn was tossed aside so that Karl Rove could drive the Clinton campaign. This is one of their dumbest moves yet.
Was Obama insulting me? Why, I do believe he was. ‘Cause I know people who own guns, and there’s a church down the street, and now that you mention it, I am feeling somewhat………. bitter.
Call O’Reilly’s people and tell them I’ve available.
I am on Obama staff in Pa. We are scratching our heads. WTF, HIllary? And to follow it up with a shameless pander to the NRA and Photo OP tossing shots with the boys…. I guess she defines the cheney democrat.
Maybe she’ll shoot someone in the face before the PA vote.
By the way, Bill’s efforts to make hay of this for Hillary aren’t exactly bearing fruit.
Tempest meet teapot.
With very bitter tea in it.
I’m turning to dogs and gubs.
Crooks and Liars had a post up about how Lou Dobbs Tonight on CNN spent the whole hour talking about how this is going to just ruin things for Obama. They did not spend a moment talking about the new torture disclosures. We really do have a stupid and goddamned broadcast media. It poisons everything it touches.

Where do I get my ‘I’m bitter’ sticker?
Meanwhile, Hillary actually HAS dissed rural voters:

The idea of anyone in the Clinton campaign, even for momentary tactical advantage, sporting an “I’m not bitter” sticker ought to make anyone fall on the floor in a fit of laughter. Bitterness is all they’ve got in the tank at this point.
War Is Peace.
Freedom Is Slavery.
Ignorance Is Strength.
Hillary And McCain Is Common.
Same place the rethugs got those purple heart bandaides that they were so proud of about 4 years ago.
And the new Clinton campaign theme song?
Attention Obama and Clinton kids: We’ll take either, okay? Seriously. We’ll all vote for whichever one wins, and we expect you to do the same. We’d also kind of like it if all you guys could keep from making it easier for McCain to beat whoever the nominee is.
I don’t think this is asking too much, you party people already decided there was no way in fuck my preferred candidate would ever make it through the primaries, in fact you do every four years. Am I bitter? Yes. Did I vote for Gore and Kerry despite any lingering bitterness? Yes. Will I vote for Obama, Clinton, or some variation thereof? Yes.
This is more important than my candidate. This is more important than your candidate. I will gladly buy you a drink after your candidate loses, and we can commiserate gently, but only if you put the cause–keeping John McCain out of the fucking White House–above your personal preferences.
Okay?
dsidhe,
Very eloquent, very passionate, very well said. We are amazed daily at the generosity of spirit of our supporters, at their appreciation of truth, of their ability to take the long view.
Now please f**k off.
The Democratic National Committee
lol. I had an abusive family. I’ve been Stockholm on authority so long even the DNC can’t put me off, baby. Shame, kinda.
Clinton has already shown that she cares nothing for the people. She only cares about power. Period.
After saying that, yes, I will hold my nose & pull the lever for her if she is the nominee.
Go Edwards!
