I believe the usual Basset terminology for Fenway’s coloring is “red and white.” My first Basset was a red-and-white (the dear departed Kona). My subsequent three have all been the more common tricolor (brown, white and black), like Beckham.

Can we package one up and send them your way? After a long Friday in the salt mines, listening to Beckham and Fenway’s squabbles over a large, stuffed baseball with arms and legs is almost too much. However, to CCinNC, you have outlined the EXACT scenario that took place in Casa Tbogg. I am going to derive infinite joy from waking up the L&T Casey at 5am (she comes home in 3 weeks) to take Fenway on his morning constitutional. After spending the last 9 months in Hawaii, she deserves much motherly torment. Not to mention letting the small one into the inner sanctum that is her room, from which all dogs have historically been banned. Cue the evil laughter……and in the background Fenway “aroooooooos”.
