Yeah TBogg, late 80s early 90s Britpop has its staying power. Some very original and influential (and still unknown) bands came from that era: Lush, Kitchens of Distinction, The Blue Aeroplanes, Happy Mondays, New Fast Automatic Daffodils, Inspiral Carpets, Ride, Its Immaterial, The Wendys, The Wonder Stuff. I’ll put them up against todays alt favs any day. Plus, that era has the extra bonus of being on the tail end of vinyl 1.0 and the beginning of the digital era. Lots of 7″ and 12″ rarities and collectibles out there.
