Admittedly it’s not Duke (thank god) but it’s not a bad academic institution either. They were just as full of morons in the 80s as they are now. </p> <p>As I recall, we had the same argument about football in the mid-80s, shortly after SDSU moved from the PCAA to the WAC. Then-president Thomas Day was as adamant about football as Weber is. Probably part of the job application, actually.
