Michelle Malkin thinks we should invade the polar bears’ lands, kill their leaders and convert them to seat covers:
Alaska GOP Gov. Sarah Palin is taking on the Bush administration’s eco-pandering decision to put polar bears on the threatened species list. Via Reuters comes news that Alaska will file suit to block the move. With staunch, sane, principled conservatives like Gov. Palin and Sen. James Inhofe taking a stand, there’s hope–however dwindling–for the GOP yet.
Keep hope alive
What a weird sentiment, "keep hope alive", regarding the destruction of habitat, as if the greatest good is to continue to consume and destroy and degrade the planet. Where the destruction of polar bears or any other creature should be dictated by a "cost-benefit analysis".
You looks at Malkin’s series of posts about the environment and have to wonder, does she really think that there is something wrong with organic cotton and that it will lead to abortion? What kind of person is so extreme in their thinking that they makes that kind of leap?
Finally you have to wonder what kind of world does she want for her two kids when they grow up?
Personally I think that she secretly hates them because they’re brown…

“Keep hope alive” sounds like a good pep squad cheer. C’mon, Michelle, it’s time to press the pleats in your plaid skirt and GFI!
I hear the Republicans are looking for a new slogan, since that “Change You Deserve” isn’t working out so well. Maybe this could be a good replacement:
Keep Hope Alive: Kill the Polar Bears!
.
Ever since the acceleration of the destruction of their habitat, polar bears have been increasingly bold about munching on humans. How long do you think it would take one to hike to Malkin’s back yard?
Picture caption one of your best ever.
“Drop dead” is pretty much MalKKKin’s response to anybody or anything other than lunatic right white guys. I think she is afraid that concern for the environment might somehow, in a vague and incoherently defined way, possibly inconvenience her. For Michelle, “keeping hope alive” is killing all reason and sanity.
Do you ever get the feeling that if Jesse Malkin really knew how to satisfy a woman, Michelle might be less insane?
Ruthie –
We could probably set up a vehicle-to-vehicle arrangement from Alaska to Maryland, with concerned citizens offering to take segments, and get that polar bear there in next to no time at all.
I’ll take Breezewood to Montgomery County.

I knew Malkin was off her meds as soon as I saw that she put “sane” and “Inhofe” in the same sentence.
Damn, daveotr beat me to it. Anyone who thinks Inhofe (Sen – petro) is sane has jumped headlong through the Looking Glass. I guess every day is opposite day for Michelle.
And why not?
Her GOP pals are killing hundreds of thousands of Iraqis (species: humans) for oil, why not a few hundred bears.
–keep that hope alive!
