Mrs. Ronald…one of the best things about bassets is that they are so snuggly. Satchmo was actually also at the end of the couch behind my legs, curled up asleep. And for all of you who have added to your fur family “because” of Fenway…more power to you!!! Sharing your home and your heart with animals just makes life that much better!

This is the “to be ” mrs Ronald – Mrs TBogg – no better position than under babies on the couch is there? We have a Saint and are adding a chow baby in 4 weeks, couch cuddle time is the best! Our baby is 10 mo and 130 lbs. Fenway is the cutest – is Satchmo meditating? Bechkham is such a responsible big brother. Our 8 cats keep the puppy in line – even potty trained him in 45 days – would you like to borrow one?

Hope “Tom’s Mom” is feeling better – probably needs a Fenway snuggle.

To add to Fenway’s crimes, I totally blame his cute pictures for convincing me that it would be a really good idea to adopt a puppy a few weeks (and several chewed-up lamp cords) ago. At least he prudently unplugged them before he chowed down.

I most sincerely hope the Dowager Mrs. TBogg’s health continues to improve.

As for the ‘favorite hat’ — pshaw! I was off-line most of a week after the new rescue Puppybastrd completed the destruction of my ancient thinkpad. He didn’t even bother with the hard work of chewing it… just used his undoglike climbing skills to stampede our ex-feral dog-shy cat across the keyboard, removing the 3, Q, W, E, A, and S keys as she scrambled madly out of range. Living with a dog who thinks in three dimensions is dam’ expensive; bet you never worry about the Basset Boyz leaping a 30-inch gate!
