Shorter Bill Kristol:
Who will fight in my wars if Barack Obama encourages young people to follow my career path which consists of serving my country by sending young people off to fight in my wars?

Hahahaha! great title.
still debating whether I dare to follow that link…
Thanks for keepin’ things light around here the last couple days.
FunnyD
Bill, please crawl back under the rock from which you came. Good day!
I sent him a e-mail this morning asking if the grinder was short of meat? He’s the only op-ed columnist that doesn’t have a online response link. I guess NYT knows it would be a nightmare to air the disgust he elicits.
Of course, Bill don’t catch on that all of Barack’s examples are about helping people. Serving our country can be many different things [including being a backseat driver like Kristol], but Obama focused on aiding the sick, the poor, the young, the old, the unfortunate.
In Kristol’s world, these people are latent terrorists.
The military can do good, but people like Kristol confuse serving political purposes with doing real good in the world.
Moondancer,
Ask for a copy of his DD214.
Here’s a bonus gift if you do.

Thank you, I just love that way of framing the neo-con mindset. It helps explain their interpretation of “compassionate conservatism” as: “the intent to kill, abuse or at the very least marginalize and humiliate as many of you retched schmucks as we can at tax-payer expense, while obsessively increasing our power and wealth in the process.”
Meanwhile, if Mr. Kristol is really so worried about the dwindling supply of fodder for his war machine, rather than the recent grads from Wesleyan he should perhaps look to the ample supply of well-fed keyboard commandos who not only are eligible, but who — judging by their rhetoric and online posturing — are itching to get out there and
kill some arabsserve their country honorably. Why, I bet he could find an entire battalion aimlessly swapping “I almost got laid this weekend” stories in the lunch room of the Weekly Standard.Kristol could ask David Brooks if his oldest son would serve in Endless Clusterf**k. He’s about the right age.
He’s also full of shit about $14,000 being typical salary for a recent college graduate in 1985. Ignorant fool? Unprincipled liar? Both? Who cares? He’s a complete asshole. I would dearly love to see him recommend military service to college seniors. The laughter would be deafening.
Quick note: Americablog just posted that Kristol’s column today may have been plagiarized…
My sentiments exactly (second post down)…http://www.tagg-theangrygayguy.com
Now THAT would be just as tasty as the pie photo!
Man, that pie was a direct hit. Sometimes things do work the way they should.
that is still my all-time favorite candid of Kristol.
