Sorry.
I spent all evening looking for pictures of the other dogs and not just Fenway... but to no avail. Satchmo & Beckham are just fine and fat and happy, if not a bit reclusive of late. Fenway, on the other hand, is always available if there is a camera or food or a noise or a movement or if he sees his own shadow, something shiny, or his own reflection in a mirror.
We're considering Ritalin.
Pictures:
By the way, Fenway is now about twenty-two weeks old which is, like, 154 weeks in dog weeks for those keeping score at home.
Which would be weird.

Ha! My new puppy once spent an entire evening sneaking up on his mirror reflection and barking furiously at it. Wore himself out completely from all the excitement.
So, does Beckham feel displaced by the younger, more energetic mischief maker?
Okay, I gotta admit he’s cute. He can visit my “office.” There’s a place that sells gourmet dog biscuits next door….
Finally. I’ve been waiting all day. Should I seek the help of a professional since Tbogg’s basset blogging is something I look forward to with more interest than is healthy each week? If so, could I select just any professional, or should it be someone who would ridicule me because I look forward to Thursday?
Fenway always makes me smile.
Ok 22 weeks, he does need to start squaring up to those ground balls.
He has very big paws.
Ahhh…better.
Has he gone into teh sling yet?
Pretty boy….
I’m just a winter team coach, but if these scouting photos tell me anything, it’s that lateral movement work is probably in order…
Too adorable. Makes me want to run out and get a bassett, but the three cats would definitely be disgruntled, and no good will come of that. Oh well.
He looks just like my brother in that last picture.
Except for the color he’s pretty parallel behavior wise for my 10.5 month old Basset puppy girl Lucille except that she is a little more mellow. The relationship between them is pretty copasetic now after about 2 and a half months. She has been great.
You can come see me (I’m a mental health professional), and we could spend your sessions discussing Basset Blogging and whether Satchmo is a saint and if Beckham is finding out that payback’s a bitch from Fenway. What fun!
So should we get Lucille and Fenway together? Sounds like the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
Karma’s a bitch, ain’t it?
