Not to mention that Michelle’s skin tone allows her to look fabulous in that really bright plum-colored (or whatever you call it) dress that she wore when she was doin’ the terrorist fist slam thing.

No pasty white woman can pull off wearing those colors, so that’s another reason to vote for the cranky old delusional white guy and his zombie wife.

Well, here’s the thing:

google Michelle Obama, the narrow the search to “Images”. Guess what? You will find exactly one sleeveless dress in the entire first page. And on subsequent pages, you get….about one new pic of her going sleeveless. Appropriately sleeveless, if you ask me.

Is it me, or are the rightwing punkdits desperately reaching for the absolute craziest straws in their attempted attacks on the Obamas?

I think everyone is missing one a key point. Those sleeveless numbers reveal an awful lot of _brown skin_. This is the part Lisa finds disturbing, she’s just trying to rationalize her way around it.

As a distant observer of fashion, and a close observer of the idiocy of Lisa Schiffren, I just wanted to say that here in Arizona I see women wearing those sleeveless sheath dresses and blouses every day. Why? Because it’s hot, and because it looks much better than stupid little cap-sleeve blouses with underarm wet spots. As a matter of fact, I think I’ve even seen a certain Cindy McCain wearing them, and a quick Google search confirms that I’m right …. OMGWTFBBQ!!!!111!!!

Yeah, I think Condi’s safari suit–replete with jackboots and pith helmet– kinda ruined the “power player” look for a lot of people. Nothing is more tasteless than infusing empowerment with good old-fashioned Colonialism!

Oh, and the pink St. John knit was a fashion TRAVESTY on Condi….

What’s an official moment? Getting on stage with Babs, Whoopi and Germany’s favorite singer is officially what?

Maybe Michelle Obama wears those dresses because she can. Because she’s got the beauty, the stature and the drop-dead gorgeous good looks that are flattered and highlighted by pretty dresses.

Then again, maybe I’m biased. I admit my sense of fashion is about as sharp as Schiffren’s writing.

Lisa strikes me as more of a “Covenant Cleanser” Beam-me-up-to-the-mothership kinda person: Nix the peach snapps and Vicodin; substitute hard cider and phenobarbital, instead. And since Lisa is such a fashionista, I’m sure she’ll also want to consume this fine beverage while sitting on a cheap plastic lawn chair dressed in clean jeans, Nikes and a purple scarf.

By the way, has anyone else noticed that some of Cindy “Zombie-Eyes” McCain’s publicity shots look like someone erased her eyeballs?
