Don’t forget NPR…I heard an editorial about it this morning. The editorialist was shocked, shocked I tell you, that Obama would say such a thing because John McCain is a completely honorable man and has never and would never mention Obama’s race. Nevermind that Obama said “they” would use it, not McCain specifically. It was too early for me to be screaming at the radio, but there it was.
Obama’s speech writers are stealing your stuff. I recall you using that line months ago.
digg
Gee. I can’t imagine why Obama might think that the Republicans might use race to scare voters. I mean they have only done it in pretty much every election since 1970. It’s called “the Southern (KKK) strategy.”
Looks to me like the strategy is going to be a little two-step. First, naked racism (”terrorist fist-bump,” “Obama’s baby mama,” “Osama–er–I meant Obama,” etc. etc. ad nauseam atque ad infinitum), followed by an “apology.” Then a lot of wailing, “How can they call us racists?” Meanwhile, St. John McCain stays above the fray–you won’t catch him observing that the new sheriff of Rock Ridge has a rather different complexion than the majority of the citizens.
Right. And please don’t forget St. McCain is so far above the fray that he’s completely and utterly incapable of asking anyone putting out racist ads to cease and desist…. Fracker.
From the party that brought you John McCain’s black baby: “Who, us?”
Racist? Not the Republikkkans!!!
Worse than that, Scott Simon was very angry that Obama intended to use his money advantage against helpless McCain. If I read that essay without attribution, I would have guessed Kristol or Pantload.
Oh god, Tbogg. You actually visited all those cesspools? And made links to them?
I’d soak my hands in 100% isopropyl for a while. Even the shitstains that poopultate those websites can’t survive in that environment.
The tools at NRO are now maintaining that they have never, ever even heard anyone make a racist remark. In their lexicon, “post-racial” means the only racism is practiced by black people to make white people feel bad.
I don’t know about all of them but the idiots at No Quarter are more than sensitive. They’re as bad as Free Republic. If you ask Larry Johnson were his proof is about the alleged “Whitey” video, you get a screed. If you post a link from a major blog critcizing Johnson, you get banned.
And apparently, it’s fine for the Clintons and their followers to speak at length about sexism but it’s the end of the world if Obama mentions racism, much less frequently.
Weird bunch.
And let’s not forget this little gem: http://www.tagg-theangrygayguy.....y-but.html
The worst of the links . . . NO QUARTER, simply because I mistakenly scrolled down and read about ‘political prisoner’ Larry Sinclair. More scary than the main article are all the supportive comments.
I mean who wouldn’t believe a guy with a long criminal record when he claims that Obama’s had sex with him, did cocaine, and tried to kill a gay choir director.
You know what I really like about this?
He said this in Jacksonville, Florida, whose news media reports on blacks only as criminals, and whose Florida Times-Union editorial page is one of the hardest-right in the country.
