Clearance sale! Going out of business! Nothing held back!!! No offer refused!
I know you're not supposed to mention a no-hitter while it's in progress but has anyone else noticed that you don't hear much from Ann Coulter these days? I mean, she still writes columns but nobody gives a shit anymore.
Not that she won't attempt to insert herself into our lives again.

I’m sure she’ll drop the “n” word a few times before November…you know, just to keep up her rep.
Newsweek and Bill O’lielee
What fun!
….
“Supplies are Limited”, but you haven’t given us the link!!!! What if they run out, Tbogg?
What with the price of fossil fuel, we may need to burn these babies for heat next winter.
My only concern is that these books are written on absorbent paper.
For the obvious use in “that” room of the house.
And a free copy of Dow 40,000 with every purchase! Buy these books before they’re outlawed.
Truth time: A friend who climbs says these paperbacks are a must when climbing for the following reasons:
(1) The paper is cheap, so they’re lighter than trade paperbacks.
(2) The paper is absorbent, so they can be used for t.p. without the bulk of a roll in your pack, plus it doesn’t become a hopeless ball of goo in damp weather.
(3) Virtually unlimited fire starters in damp weather!
(4) Dramatic readings of Coulter and O’Reilly are loads of fun while stuck in a tent on the side of a cliff.
(5) Authors make virtually no money off sales of remaindered books!!!! (Only thing better is finding one for a quarter or less at a yard sale.)
Anecdote time. I went into my preferred discount club and noticed a large stack of paperback LF by Pantload. Incensed I fired off a e-mail to the CEO, a known wingnut*. When I went back a short while later they were gone. Thinking that I had made a difference, I asked the mgr what happened to the stack of shit. He said they couldn’t give them away so they returned the entire lot to the publisher. Hmmm. Warehouse full…
* My bitch was they carry limited titles and none are ever progressive.
“Rather than defending Sen. McCain in the face of Democratic Party criticism, however, Coulter praises Bush as “a great President,” then lashes out at both liberals and Sen. McCain as “lickspittles” not “worthy of kissing Bush’s behind.”
Oh. my. Gawd. You cannot make this stuff up. Annie should be in a straight jacket.
Thanks for the linky, tbogg. Watching the wingnuts implode is prime-time entertainment.
I have gotta get Hannity’s “Deliver us From Evil.” I mean, look at that face, that mien, the strong shoulders, the huge forehead. I mean, you could use that space to sell ads.
Hey, I have a copy of a stupid, whiny David Frum book about the ’70s I’d gladly give away. Then again, with the price of toilet paper these days…
Nobody could have pre-dickted these fine toombs would not sale.

Low Morals, and Even Lower Prices!!!
Either they are really desperate or they don’t have a grip on capitalism. It’s more profitable to pulp the books.
Loved your final link. I can see her with a large knife stabbing a bunny!
However, ”Financial Reckoning Day” IS a good value at this price. Old-time fiscal conservatism with no respect and use for the current Admin or the Iraq war. Paulistas more or less and gloomy and doomy on the economy (but probably more right than wrong). WELL worth the read.
OT, but could someone explain the origin of the name ”Firedoglake”? I realize that I am admitting to not being aware of all internet traditions.
