The one true neocon I deigned to talk to was always telling me he was looking for a “fertile, intelligent, gorgeous woman”. Yes, that’s a quote; fertile was his primary criteria, and all because of his paranoid perception yhat his fellow “intelligencia” were not procreating fast enough. Why any good looking woman would have looked twice at this sweaty little rotund toad is beyond me, hence his perpetual bachelorhood. Maintained with Mumsy’s generous funding of course.

I think it’s the high birth rate insiders we have to really worry about, especially since they already own the levers of power and have the systematic looting almost done by now.

Apropos barbarians… am I the only one about ready to throw a Cheney grade fit over those ridiculous new cut ads that pop up when you click on the “read more” links?

Srsly, Tbogg, if you need money to feed the hamsters/bassets running the site, then ask and you shall receive. I’ll gladly pay quite an exorbitant amount per month or year to roam these pastures if paying up means I avoid being spoon fed some lame in-your-face sales pitch every time I want to actually read your ‘effin blog.

And yes, I know you’re probably at the mercy of Jane in these matters, so at your next “let’s rule the world” meeting in the secret firedoglake cave do please let her know that the natives are getting restless over here.

Amazing the similarity to the fall of the Roman Empire. It was the hordes of slobs from Northern Europe, and other Europes that ruined the Empire. They wanted vinyards and slaves and warm weather too.
Of course the only thing that changed was the gene pool. It was different, but not really.
I have a small collection of ephemera that laments the Greek, Irish, Dago, Kraut problems in any given time here. We hate change…until its done.

I have faith in my fellow humans. Some of them will always have babies for whatever reason, and some of them will always not have babies for whatever reason. A lot of the rest of them are looking at a world that bears no small resemblance to a walrus breeding colony, wall to wall bodies with pups frequently crushed to death by adults in a hurry to stake a territory or have sex as the ice floes shrink and the food gets harder to find, and thinking they don’t want that for their kids. Once there’s some room, some equilibrium, some time, once they see the world’s an okay place and their families don’t always get smashed into the ground, they’ll start in again with the babies until we’re right back on that beach, but that’s how humans are.
