The German review is positive, with some reservations regarding rigor of some of the arguments, too broad a scope, and not really about the militaristic fascism of Italy and Germany. Also faults the book for spending too much time bashing Hollywood, and finds it week in analyzing current US poltical figures. But, in the end recommends it. Says it works best when fascism is considered to be a kind of ‘meta-ideology’ that envelopes others, kind of like the borg.

But, the author of the review apparently sees the world as Jona Goldberg does. A quote from the review:
“It is amazing that fascism arose in the US even before it did in Italy (Woodrow Wilson)”
