Unreal!… Obama Tells Katie Couric the Surge Was a Bad Strategy …Updated With Video
Katie Couric and Barack Obama sparred over the success of the surge in an interview today.
This aired on CBS News tonight.UPDATE: This was an amazing segment on CBS News. Katie Couric interviewed both Barack Obama and John McCain on the surge.
That was an amazing segment! CBS did an excellent job. Congratulations.
Obama sounded TOTALLY arrogant and ridiculous!

This could very well be a turning point in this year’s election!
Obama came off cocky, confused and crazy.
McCain was wonderful- honest, humble and smart.
As you can see from the video, Barack Obama was all up in Katie’s face and uppity and stuff while John McCain spoke with the simple assurance of a Flomax™ spokesperson; confident in his ability to only get up to pee only two or three times a night. And America loves straight-talking old guys who don’t smell like pee, not crazy black men. So, say hello to President McCain, bitches.
Of course, normally in situations like this I would urge caution, ala the Wolf in Pulp Fiction ("Well, let’s not start sucking each other’s dicks quite yet.") but in this case I think that the Gateway Pundit should go with his gut, sell all of his belongings, move in with Larry Johnson, and then bet it all on McCain in November.
What could go wrong?

My hair has been on fire all night. I have never been more frightened than by McCain tonight in the unabridged interview. He is mental and unfit for the job. The above clip is the one lucid moment Krusty had.
Joe Klein wrote a short rip on Krusty, saying the same thing, so I must be wrong.
I love the cutaway shot of Katie as she seems to be asking herself whether McCain is making any sense or she fell asleep and woke again after he changed the subject.
I never thought I’d say this, but McCain lacks the charisma and clear thinking of BobDole…

Boy, Couric sure got her RNC talking points down, didn’t she? “Focus on THE SURGE”. It’s all about THE SURGE! THE SURGE is working! He didn’t support it! Clearly he wants us to lose!
The problem THE SURGE humpers don’t see is that they already sound like the gambling-addicted brothers that they are. “Just loan me $20! THE SURGE is a sure thing to win at Pimlico in the fifth!” Great, you won back $20 on even money but we’re still billions in the hole.
Argh, and here I need to watch this ditz’s “news” show tonight to see if I’m in any of the video from a donated dental care project I participated in last weekend. I want to see what we did become common in all states, but damn, this is a high price to pay for the exposure. Tell me again why she was made a primetime anchor?

There are no other qualifications that matter.
What could go wrong ? Maybe Olbermann could find on the cutting room floor,the video of McCain getting confused (or lying) about which came first September 2006 or February 2007.
This is serious. CBS staffers aren’t going to put up with it anymore, and they are leaking (with or without Flomax™).
