Yes. This was a lovely little bit of joyous remembrance of dear, wise, sweet Satchmo and the youthful bassetts that will help to heal hearts by their continued presence.

So sorry to hear the news. Our Jack Russell Emmitt Smith is 12, and in the past year, we’ve said goodbye to all of his puppy-day friends. We treasure every minute with our “devil dog” and your terrible loss is another reminder of how dear these creatures are. Bless you all.

Tbogg, Although I am not religious at all, there is one thing that I feel is right; ALL DOGS GO TO HEAVEN. I lost a Shar Pei and a Golden Retriever within two weeks of each other and I decided to live dog free after my entire childhood and adult life was spent with dogs. Needless to say, that did not work. My previous pets were looking down saying what are you thinking. I like to think of Satch up above with Butch, Chester, Duchess, Rebel, Sunny, and Pudge.

Thanks Andrea for the photo compilation. You guys have been on my mind all day. Thanks again for all the memories and new exploits (I’m thinking Fenway) to enjoy. Satchmo was a lucky guy and so was the Tbogg family to have him.

What a wonderful video. In the previous post a commentor wrote that they couldn’t believe that they felt so bad for someone they had never met and it brought to mind this from V For Vendetta.
