I just want to point out that former prisoner of war, 109 year-old John McCain, a former prisoner of war who was beaten for five and a half years when he was a prisoner of war in a prison where they kept prisoners of war, could not have overheard Rick Warren’s questions to Barack Obama because former prisoner of war John McCain left his radio back in the former prisoner of war’s hotel room and there is no way it could have fit in the former prisoner of war’s limo.
To suggest otherwise is (psst!…prisoner of war) dishonorable and insults all prisoners of war, like, you know, John McCain.
Who was in prison. During the war. In Vietnam.

Please don’t talk about that. McCain doesn’t like to talk about his service in Vietnam or his experiences as a prisoner of war. Please honor that.
”I wish I was in Tijuana…”
I John Sydney McCain, former prisoner of war and veteran of the great Battle of Gettysburgh, honestly cannot recall if I was in the Cone of Silence room. Cuz I’m fucking old. And anyway, if I wasn’t, and I did here the questions, I wouldn’t have remembered them by the time I got to the stage. Again, cuz my mind has the consistency and temperature of gazpacho soup. Hanoi Hilton, bitches!
Seriously, am I missing something? He was either in the room, or he wasn’t. Can someone please ask him. Anyone.
how dare you insinuate that McCain, a POW, would use his time spent as a POW in Vietnam for political gain. It is an insult to all POWs, but mostly to John McCain, who was a POW. In Vietnam.
Commie.
But what outrageous things has McCain, a former prisoner of war, actually done?
John McCain, a former prisoner of war, cheated on his maimed wife.
John McCain, a former prisoner of war, sued his wife for a divorce.
John McCain, a former prisoner of war, was involved in political corruption.
John McCain, a former prisoner of war, lies about his POW stories.
..etc..etc..
During his time as a prisoner of war, John McCain developed Stockholm Syndrome, and now has an intense emotional attachment to war. They have been correspondents ever since.
EPUd: Liberal tool NYT questions patriotism of all Olympic athletes
John McCain was a prisoner of war? No shit??
Wow. I never would have known. I thought they killed all the prisoners at the Siege of Sevastopol.
– Clearly some kind of undiagnosed PTSD here: deep down, he still thinks he’s a prisoner of war, and we’re his evil captors.
That’s why, in his few lucid moments between the seizures, the therapy sessions, and the long naps, he’s plotting his revenge on all of us by vying to become our leader.
Who dares impugn the honor of St. John the Insane. He has suffered for our sins. Read more. http://www.tagg-lines.com/2008…..shell.html
Anything that lying cunt says he did he did. He even heard ABBA songs in Vietnam before there was an ABBA. Now that is a powerful radio. Did I mention he is a cheating lying cunt? Oh well I just wanted to make sure. Cunt.
Here’s McNasty slamming the door on his fellow POW’s and their families:

LOL, LOL… Tbogg, you are so naughty, impugning the honor of John ‘noun, verb, POW; noun, verb, Vietnam; my frienz, noun, verb, tax cutz; I know how to win warz!;Hey, look at the hooterz on that blonde one!’ McCain.
Geez, would suck for some people if McCain turned out to be like the guy in “In The Lake Of The Woods.” Be a nice jolt for Tim McBrien’s sales, though, and a swell teebee movie.
It is all part of McCain’s mavericky magic that he is not bound by such mundane consideration as facts, history, or truth.
He wasn’t in the room, at least not for the first 1/2 of Obama’s segment. When asked, his campaign shot back with lawyered-up answers and How-Dare-You bullshit.
So yeah……… he lied, in a church, to a pastor. Awesome.
Stockholm Syndrome? Does that involve dumping your wife for a younger, blonder, richer model?
Come on now, even if McSame had access to the questions don’t y’all know that them transistor radios have really bad reception, especially on that new fangled AM wave.
Look, I’d like to get back to the Supremes, if you don’t mind.
The insinuation from the Obama campaign that John McCain, a
former prisoner of warRepublican, cheated is outrageousNo need to beat that old POW horse.
Everyone knows Republicans cannot lie…
At the end of the Vietnam War, a war the U.S. ruling elite started, three countries lay in ruins and millions were dead.
The supreme crimes thr U.S. committed against the Vietnamese people have been expunged from the record. All that remains are our “heroes.”
Are you questioning John McCain’s integrity??
The winners are always the heroes, afterall, who gets to write the history? And as we know from neocons and their newest puppet, they make their own history; they told us so. I think that by now this also means “making it up” as they go along too.
McCain had that radio with him all the time he was a prisoner of war. It had been his grandfather’s radio. When his grandfather died, it passed to his father, the admiral, who gave it to John Sidney III to keep in the cockpit with him while he trained to be a Navy fighter pilot.
John Sidney III had the radio with him when his plane was hit by North Vietnamese air defenses. As he plummeted toward Earth, he knew that he had to take the radio with him, and to hide it where the “Gooks” would not find it and steal his birthright. So he hid it in his ass. All during his confinement, he listened to that radio, which inexplicably played only American stations. It was John Sidney III’s only source of American speech and culture, and he unconsciously began to modify his speech to mimic its distinctive sound.
This is why, more than four decades later, when John Sidney III says anything, he sounds like he’s talking out of his ass.
No, you’ve confused it with “Anhauser’s Syndrome.”
Apropos of nothing, my wife has owned a radio that looks very similar to that one for years (minor differences in the speaker grill). Cool!
