Yup. And she’ll be the perfect excuse for why McCain couldn’t get elected, never mind that he’s a bucket full of colossal fail himself. This way the republicans get to overshadow the democratic legacy of this election, win or lose, get to pretend they’re making history as everyone says “Geraldine who?”, get to show us feminist bitches what a REAL woman should look like, get to pretend the democrats are the real sexists for refusing to take her seriously, get to pretend that there’s no glass ceiling anymore so who needs legislation and equal pay and silly stuff like that, and get to blame the chick when they fail.

Ah, I love the movies. I think McCain’s stuck with her. If he dumps her, he’s admitting (what everyone with an intact CNS already knows) that he made a snap decision without vetting her and that’s a loser for both the judgment and temperament fronts and … he loses badly. His only choice is to salvage her because without the fundies …. he loses badly.
