Or, it isn’t only stupidity. There is at least one Supreme Court ruling she disagrees with; the Exxon Valdez one. She issued a statement decrying it when it came out. So my idea is that she is paranoid with respect to media figures and her strategy is not to give them anything. So rather than just answer the question, she filibustered her way through it. I also feel like part of what happens is that she’s scared to pause for a second and gather her thoughts, and scared to stop talking once she’s started.
