How amusing. In this case “prix” is pronounced like “pricks”?

A wingnut acquaintance today said - yes today, not even in 2004 - that because there haven’t been layoffs yet where we are, the economy is as sound as ever.

And erroneously mentioned how condo building is proceeding apace. (Except more of them are walking away from unfinished projects because they can’t get financing and housing sales are down by 42%.)
