…and speaking of bassets, Fenway is fine. No teeth issues, just a periodontal infection and a $500 vet bill.
He’s back to leaping on furniture, barking, wrestling, getting under foot, and trying to chew anything that gets left out. I kind of miss doped-up docile Fenway. Things were so much more peaceful then.
Just for the record: Fenway is currently going apeshit upstairs, because he has about three days worth of energy stored up in him, and the aggravated and getting-snippier-by-the-minute mrs tbogg is attempting to"control" him.
Fat chance.
(Added): One last thing. I have been remiss in not thanking JCfromNC for the True Crime Anthology. So…thanks. Woo-hoo! I’m still on track to get into heaven if it turns out that bullshit story about "God" is true….

Good news on Fenway! Thanks for the update.
Glad to hear Fenway’s back to his rambunctious self. I keep saying that when my brother finally retires from his practice and I no longer get my vet care for free, I’m going to have to give up pets. But I’m sure I’ll just end up finding someway of paying their bills anyway.
You’re quite welcome for the book! It sounded like something I want to read myself — guess it’s going to go on *my* wishlist now.
I guess this means I’ll wait for another time to tell my abscess joke. Oh, well.
Fenway may be close to “The Operation”, I would imagine. That should be also an interesting detail. Glad your boy is doing fine and back being a normal puppy……
Soon, Fenway will be old enough to get a job and pay you back.
