Larry Johnson, keeper of the Secret and Not For Your Eyes Only Michelle Obama "whitey" video, burst (in a manner of speaking) on the scene as a staunch and highly visible defender of Valerie Plame who was outed as a CIA agent and consequently had her career destroyed by an executive branch unrestrained by rules or laws, intent upon retaliating against her husband, Joseph Wilson.
No really. It was in all of the papers.
So what does Larry think about this whole Sarah Palin Troopergate hoo-hah?
I’m glad you asked:
Sarah Palin cannot expect politicians in Alaska to have her back because she took on the special interests in the Republican party and whipped their ass. Now comes the charge that she “abused” her power? Why? Because she did not tell her husband to stop complaining about her asshole brother-in-law.
The fact that some seemingly rational people want to argue that this is disqualifying of Palin is a fucking joke. For starters, let’s review the fundamental conclusion–there is no evidence that Sarah Palin fired the Public Safety Commissioner because he wouldn’t fire her brother-in-law, the State Trooper. Got it?
Um. Sure. You’re the expert.
So. To sum up:
- Members of executive branch of the federal government, in a petty act of retaliation, make repeated phone calls to various journalists and off-handedly mention that Ambassador Joe Wilson’s wife is a covert CIA agent, thereby blowing her cover and putting her contacts around the world in danger = bad.
- The husband of the chief executive of the state of Alaska makes repeated phone calls and spends his spare time using his wife’s employees and the power of her office, including receiving access to private government personnel files although he holds no position within the government, to stalk and harass his ex-brother-in-law = good.
Wow. Joe Strummer was onto something when he sang:
"But I believe in this-and it’s been tested by research
That he who fucks nuns will later join the church"

what happened to the No
ClueQuarter crowd? Is their love for Hillary (D-It’s my precious) so strong they would rather lose with her (as if that’s likely, at this point, seeing how ham-fisted the other side has been) than win with the guy who, you know, won the most delegates?Larry Ratfucker Republican Johnson. I wish Hillary would say something about this slithering shitbag, that is if she knows he’s alive. I wonder who’s payroll he’s on? It’s gonna come out sooner or later.
I see, it’s an abuse of power if someone Larry likes is the victim, otherwise it’s “all bets are off.” He rolled into the public view because of his outrage over what the Bush Admin. did to Valerie Plame. This never ruled out the idea that his actions in response to those attacks on Ms. Plame were motivated by feelings of loyalty to the CIA and his colleagues there. All of his comments during that time fit the pattern of a guy whose primary emotion boils down to “don’t fuck with me and mine.” Once he attached himself to Hillary, the same mindset kicked in. So, for now and for ever, Obama is the enemy.
Larry has Moe’s haircut and Curly’s brains. He’s like all 3 Stooges rolled into one.
captphealy nails it.

There’s two truly puzzling things about Larry.
His hair and whether he has unwillingly been made Karl Rove’s bitch, or whether he’s in on it.
His 2nd foray into a game of “I trust my two anonymous sources despite them clearly being contradicted by reality” really seems a little too transparent to give him the benefit of the doubt. Seriously, either you’re lying about ever working at the CIA or you can figure that shit out already flowbee.
I haven’t checked recently, but I don’t recall him ever rescinding his belief that Karl Rove has been under sealed indictment since 2005 and the cops would be dragging him away any second now.
Larry Johnson makes me very afraid for my country.
I can only hope that the CIA had or still has logical, intelligent people who could collect, analyze and act on real intelligence and not just a bunch of Larry Johnson stupid assholes who are capable of provoking mayhem and not much else.
Another curious blogger, in your neighborhood T-Bogg, is Joe Cannon. I used to read his blog Cannonfire, particularly for his stuff on the Brent Wilkes-Mitchell Wade and their business fronts for Defense Dollars. At one time, I thought he was another progressive blogger that had some interesting insights to share. But he’s gone off the PUMA deep end to the point that I really wonder about his true affiliations. He fits in the NQ category perfectly.
Joe Strummer knew what he was talking about…RIP.
After reading a couple of posts written by Larry this election season, it is difficult to believe that he ever was in a position of trust in the CIA. If he ever really worked for the CIA, it probably was as some kind of shill. His sense of disproportionate hostility against victorious candidate he did not support kind of disqualifies him as someone who can be trusted to discretely operate out on his own in foreign territory.
But then again, the CIA has been known to have some fuck ups in it, so who knows?
Larry Johnson has multiple personalities. How else can you explain his comment while discussing the “Whitey” video; “[C]onfirmed to me by several reliable sources, all Republicans with access to knowledge but who do not know each other.”
He obviously meant to say they were not ‘aware’ of each other because they all reside in the same body, which also happens to be Larry Johnson’s body. Besides, where are you going to find a Republican with access to knowledge? That’s an oxymoron.
I asked Larry once: “Why’d he wear tighty-whiteys?“
