Well, imagine my dilemma — I’m a white woman.

I was going to vote for Obama, but then some crazy white chick made up a not-even-marginally-plausible story about being attacked by a large black man who is a fanatic leftist (hence his illiterate backwards scribbling on her face). So I’m left with getting to vote for a senile old misogynist with a notoriously vacuous and vengeful white chick for a running mate?

I guess I’ll go against all the best instincts of white women everywhere and take my chances with the tall, dark and handsome guy who is more intelligent than the top twenty people in the opposing party.

And I hope somebody not only gets help for the pitiful Ms. Todd, but all the dimwits who didn’t see through the story to begin with.

I’ve definitely reconsidered my vote for Obama. There is no way I can vote for a scary black man as long as there is a single black man out there (anywhere) who has committed, is committing, or might someday commit a crime — any crime.

Now, obviously, I can’t expect John McCain to control all white people, that would be ridiculous, because white people are all different — they’re individuals, fergawdsake — whereas, all black people are part of the Great Scary Black Oneness.

I’m just grateful that John Moody was there to set me straight. Now, I’m going to have to go to the county clerk and get a new ballot, since I had already made the mistake of filling out my ballot for Obama. Whew! Close call.

As a Hispanic (despite my Teutonic nom de commenteur), I guess i don’t understand black folks. Here I thought Obama was the nominee of the Democratic party, put in that position by the votes of millions of all races and a large number of national convention delegates. Now I learn from John Moody that I was wrong all along–Barack is really the Head Negro, and he personally controls the actions of every black person in America, even the fictitious ones that carve backward Bs on the cheeks of Republican college students. Is there a Head White Guy, a Head Asian? I need to get signed up with El Jefe Hispanico. How come nobody told me about this?

Wait… we’re missing a step or two in the “logic” here. How does he get from “If Ms. Todd’s allegations are proven accurate,” to “[…] some voters may revisit their support for Senator Obama […] because they suddenly feel they do not know enough about the Democratic nominee.”

Unless he’s suggesting that Obama himself was the big, black (and no doubt exceptionally well-endowed) man who attacked the volunteer at the ATM, then why on earth should the attack cause them to revisit their feelings about Obama? Is he implying that Obama has been hiding a couple of convictions of 2nd degree assault in his past, and that “oh, dang, if we’d only known he had a tendency to rob people at ATMs we’d never have supported his black ass…”?

Breaking news seems to indicate that Ms. Todd has, in fact, admitted to have made the whole thing up — so, following John Moody’s warped logic, does that mean that we can all now, I dunno, assume that all pundits writing in favor of McCain are lying sacks of shit?
