It would be unfair to, well, me, if I didn’t take the time to laugh at one of my favorite dumbass wingnuts, Michael Goldfarb.
The sad/funny thing is: Goldfarb probably thinks he aced it.

Oo! Oo! I know who it is: Voldemort.
What do you bet the story tomorrow is that Goldtard locked Nancy Pfotenhauer in the broom closet so he could get some face time on TV before his cushy campaign blogging job goes Pffffot.
The interviewer could have said “We really do appreciate you coming on…and making a complete fool of yourself. Highly entertaining. Thanks a lot. Alright…“
I’ve never seen this Goldfarb before. He coulda been a contender on The Sopranos as one of the dumbass sidekicks who fucks up minor assignments when he’s not stuffing his face.
Oh my, that was priceless. I have to say I just want to slap that expression right off of his mug, though, and say “Either answer the question or admit you’re a lying weasel.”
Thank you, catbird. I wish I’d thought of that.
Could that Goldfarb possibly look any more smug? Jeez. The Dalai Lama would want to smack him upside the head.
I used to watch and mock Rick Sanchez in his Miami days. Who knew there was a real reporter in there?
Yeah, but it would have been even more effective if the interviewer had said: “Does the fact that you’ve occasionally sat around telling shvartzah jokes with your friends make you a racist?”
ooooooooh, now that’s more like it.
Why don’t they, Ruthie. Why don’t they? It’d be worth risking getting fired to do this one time.
honestly, when rick ‘taser’ sanchez calls out your shit on live teevee, you really might as well pack it in. highly entertaining teevee.
O/t -
C-Span2 running program on Interrogation and the Law w/Amnesty International.
Caught part of it earlier and think y’all would find it interesting.
As the late Sen Joe McCarthy would say: “I have here in my hand a list of commie sympathizers….”
Goldfarb just needs a sheet of paper to wave…..they have no shame. When is the media going to stop treating those assholes with respect.
that’s a real resume polisher.
And the interviewer ends by saying:
In the South, when you want to say “fuck him” but social grace prohibits, you say “bless his heart.”
Bless his pointy little head.
wasn’t Goldfarb a character in an Austin Powers movie?
I think Sanchez could have allowed Mikey to dangle on that line a while longer. He cut him loose much to soon, popcorn could have been made and consumed before we ever found out “who we were talking about”. Highly entertaining.
If the McCain campaign gets any classier, I don’t know what I’ll do.
As I suggested yesterday, Sanchez should be careful about demands for “number two” when the person he’s talking to is so full of it.
How the **** did an airhead like THAT get into Princeton? Legacy??
Please. You have to think that fate for Pfo is just grand. Thank him for that. And to risk a terrible stereotype…why do some white guys seem so sure that they have all the answers, talk without making sense, etc. Best shown by how often women lawyers are way more prepared than men, and way less likely to bs/shoot from the hip when they don’t know what they are talking about. Of course, Pfo. could shot down my whole overbroad opinion;))

who. does. number. two. work. for?!
Why does the corporate media give a platform to these goofballs? Is it any wonder that so many Americans are just plain ignorant.
Why does the corporate media give a platform to these goofballs?
He’s the campaign spokesperson. They’re obligated.
…. you know ….
Must be the script if you can’t wink like Sarah Palin.
Sanchez should have said, “I can’t look up your ass and read your mind.”
or,
“Is it Pastor Mutha…? No, wait, that’s Sarah Palin’s anti-semite sidekick.”
Thanks, sophronia. I did as well.
Always figured he was trying to become the next Geraldo.

Goldfarb Gets a Smackdown
Sanchez did some great smashmouth there, but he should not have accepted the premise that Khalidi is anti-semitic. From hilzoy at Obsidian wings:
Thanks TBogg.
digg
As soon as the words, “you’re missing the point, again, Rick” anything he had to say wasn’t worth listening to…condescending fucking white-boy prick. McCain giving money to the same organization they….. oh – fuck it.
Scott Horton dumps on Goldfarb, too. But then he does so, in part, because Goldfarb ineptly promotes the interests of a man some (e.g., Horton) once considered “a genuine war hero” and the “Daniel Webster” of his generation.

Mr. McCain’s record as a Naval aviator was barely competent. His five and half years as a POW in Hanoi was certainly a harrowing nightmare, but his survival has as much to do with McCain’s father then being in command of the Pacific Fleet as McCain’s fortitude. The Daniel Webster analogy is mind-boggling, however, reminding us that the otherwise esteemed Mr. Horton once also had great confidence that his old law firm partner, Michael Mukasey, would be a fresh new broom that sweep away the corruption dirtying the halls of temple-like Department of Justice.
It’s good to be reminded occasionally that great men and lawyers sometimes have great blind spots. A humbling experience that should prepare us for the accomplishments, as opposed to the promise, of President Obama.
This tool has been working for Billy the K at the Weakly Standard for five years and he’s a “research associate” at freaking PNAC (his dad must be a _huge_ donor to something) and he can’t come up with one single Obama associate to accuse of antisemitism? Is there something else they research at PNAC?
