Why would they learn? Their network contracts have only gotten fatter with each passing year so it’s not like they’ve seen any consequences for their actions. Well, consequences for their class at least; the rest of us have had plenty of consequences thankyouverymuch. I wonder how much longer before they feel the Cat 5 economic shitstorm in their gated neighborhoods?

I have long felt that the traditional media have become totally disconnected from the effects of their actions. In this seemingly endless campaign it was all about “keeping it close” and focusing on the horserace aspects with a side order of “gotcha”. The idea that promoting a complete loser like McDole and his disastrous sidekick Bible Spice would be really, really bad for the country doesn’t seem to have had much traction.

You’d think after the disaster BushCo wrought with the connivance of the TM they’d learn, but nooooooooo….

The second best thing about that prank on Palin by the Canadians was their fake Sarkozy claiming that he could see Belgium from his house.
