Lieberman is scum. In this, in Washington, even just in the Senate…he is far from alone. While I dearly wish that Reid would bust him down to Official Senate Toilet Attendant, I have stopped holding my breath on that count.

If Obama want to let Liarman off the hook, well, Obama won the election in a convincing fashion, and he gets to make that call. But if Liarman becomes a thorn in the Administration’s side from his prize perch, Obama will have earned that as well.

I don’t know if there is a statute of limitations, but it should be shouted from the rooftops. The withdrawals and his campaign’s changing explanation of them are public record, and should be made a permanent part of the public memory of Petty Cash Joe.

I am beginning to think all this 2 party shit is all a set up and the fuckwad Dems want Joe Lieberhole as someone that in 09/10 they can whine about how they still need mo money to elect more Dems so that they have 61 Dems because Lieberhole is the chair of the DHS and how it’s all Lieberhole’s fault that Obama is getting embarrassed by whatever Lieberhole is going to investigate. They had a chance to get Ned Lamont and they whined about how Lieberhole wasn’t a dependable vote but that was all they had.

My favorite Joe Lieberman scandal:

In 2006 he disbursed hundreds of thousands of dollars of “petty cash” just days before the election for “walking around money”. When called on the fact that this was the common term for cash used to buy votes he clarified that the money was used to pay volunteers. When called on the fact that the whole point of “volunteers” is that YOU DON”T PAY THEM and that, further, any such payments would have to be individually reported, and finally, that this was orders of magnitude more than any over candidate had disbursed from their petty cash he claimed “Look over there! Your shoe’s untied!” or words to that effect.
