It must be terrible to be such an idiot and be one of the few on the planet who don’t even know it. It would be hillarious if not for the small chance that she could have been a heartbeat away. It is still funny how the republics want her to lead their party. Now I totally understand why anyone voted for Bush and Mcnutjob. They are completely whacked and dumber than a bag of hammers.

The reason Sullivan is so forthright about this? He wants to be a conservative in a conservative political party that recognises talent and ability, and he can’t while the wingnuts are in charge.

When has that ever been true? My political education only goes back to Nixon, but I suspect he’s not representative.

Can there be a “conservative political party that recognises talent and ability?” As a smarter guy than me once said, “Although it is not true that all conservatives are stupid people, it is true that most stupid people are conservative. “

Yes, it amazing how low the expectations in the Republic are these days for leadership. On the other hand, this time the bozos look to have lost…for a few years. But, if they and their henchmen aren’t sent up the river soon, they’ll be back in power again…with an unwavering belief in their own infallibility! Not saying that throwing them in jail will cure them of their annoying and enduring arrogance…just saying that it might put a crimp in their plans…
