what i don’t get about little billy kristol is why o why would anyone pay this guy for his opinion .. he has been and still manages to be wrong about every-damn-thing .. all the time .. and yet .. he’s got column space at the NYT .. and keeps his ungly smirking mug on the teeveee somehow ..
If conservatives do some difficult re-thinking in the field of political economy, they can come back. If they don’t — well, there were a lot of admirable conservative thinkers and writers, professors and novelists, from 1933 to 1980. But conservatives didn’t govern.
It’s as close as he’ll ever get to acknowledging his long career with a lifetime batting average of .127 is due to being a legacy. Let’s learn from this. Just because your dad played in the bigs doesn’t mean you can. In fact prolly the opposite.
Really? Billy the K has been right roughly one out of eight tries? I would have estimated his average at a pristine 0.000.
I defy you to provide ANY example EVER of Billy the K being right on ANYTHING. (And, no, spelling his name correctly doesn’t count [besides which, someone at the Times probably does that for him]).
Conservatism’s melting in the dark
All the wingnut Crazy flowing down
Bush done left the state out in the rain
Bill don’t think that he can take it
’Cause it took so long to fake it
He looks for Reagan’s recipe again
Palin!
Palin!
Yes, Yes
Palin!!
Saying Bill Kristol never gets anything right is clearly an overstatement. Barring evidence to the contrary, it seems fair to suppose that he puts his shoes on the right feet in the morning, knows how to butter his toast and may be able to brush his teeth. These are not, however, things that I want to read about.

i just do not “git it” ..
anyone here got a plausible explanation ??
shorter: Billy kristal ?? WTF.. over ..
Thank you NYT for such a comparable alternative.
“Irrelevancy” isn’t a weak enough word to describe these toads.
You have to keep the nutty ones around so that we can recognize the normal people.
Although, honestly, I enjoy seeing Kristol get torn to shreds by John Stewart on a regular basis. It gives me HOPE.
Someone left the state out in the rain
Here’s hoping they’ll never have that recipe again.
And, who doesn’t love that photo?
Words straight from my mouth, CatMan!
“I don’t pretend to know just what has to be done.”
Billy’s making progress.
So, HELLO NYT, why are you paying this guy for his opinion?
Hopefully, the GOP will continue to listen to the wisdom that comes from the keyboard of Bill Kristoll.

If you realize Billy is from opposite land (aka bizzaro world), everything he has ever written is truthful, good advice!
I wave a white flag. .127 was a literary stretch, a moment of weakness. I didn’t want little Billy to cry so I padded his stats.
The five saddest words in the NYT editorial section?
“Paul Krugman is off today.”
