Penn State is going to get CRUSHED by USC.
Ohio State will get CRUSHED by Texas.

I’m really bummed that USC is required to play in the Rose Bowl, and to play the Big 10 “champion.”

A MUCH better game would be USC-Texas.

Actually the Dead Auto Finance Company Bowl is its own bowl down in Mobile. Which begs the question – where do you want to go as a reward – Detroit or Mobile?

WTF? Bowl games on January 8th? Why not the night before March Dumbness? That pretty much kills the “long season” argument against a playoff system.

And to make it all worse I have to watch my alma mater get its ass handed to it by the N-4-kNowledge Nebraska Bugeaters. I hate that team more than the Golden Pedophiles.

I said to a friend of mine (voted for McCain, but overall a generally likeable guy) at work, that if Obama fixes the economy, and puts together a college football playoff system, a good chunk of the country would be willing to make him President for life.

I don’t need no stinking job. No freaking health care. Roads to drive on. Whatever.

But I do need a fucking college football playoff, and that should be President Obama’s very first act - to establish one, by fiat if necessary. Enough of this foolishness. How fun would it be to see OU and Boise State go at it again, after vanquishing all those pretenders?

And I say this as someone transplanted to Oklahoma some years ago and married to an OU alum.
