A Brief Pictorial History of The Republican Party As Foreseen By Hugh Hewitt
The people who buy Hugh Hewitt’s books are the same people who excitedly await every M. Night. Shyamalan movies.
They just don’t learn.

I can’t wait for his 2012 title, “Sarah Palin: Our Next President”
jbk’s prediction is astute, but I anticipate a victimization move: “No Irish, No Blacks, No Dogs, No Mormons.”
Does anyone think he may have written “GOP5.0″ before the election results were in? As if he somehow knew that B. O. would win?
Of course all the saps have been wringing their hands about re-booting, re-arming, re-upping & rebuilding the country club/mega-church since 2006. Or since the dawn of time, as they’ve always been the lonely voices of reason in the wilderness, blah blah blah, ostracized because of media lies & distortions.
Speaking of the two, imagine a Romney/Palin 2012 ticket, esp. if the economy has gone & remained sourer than it already is. Comedy gold, certainly, but could the two of them be a threat?
Because w/ the inaugural days away, it’s time to start the 2012 count-down.
James Wolcott performed a glorious bitch-slapping of Hewitt in his (Wolcott’s) column in the current Vanity Fair. He was high-minded enough not to mention all those photos of Hugh’s manboobs, though.
“high-minded enough not to mention all those photos of Hugh’s manboobs” — which is too bad for Hugh, really, since they’re his only real asset.
Do you mean, “A Moron in the White House: 10 things every American should know about Sarah Palin.”
I actually enjoy M. Night. Shyamalan movies, when I’m not reading biographies of FDR or the collected works of Hothead Paisan.
I believe that you’re referring to “AMitWH II”. The first one was about GWB.
the saps have been wringing their hands about re-booting, re-arming, re-upping & rebuilding the country club/mega-church since 2006.
Yup, they started about a second after it became clear their permanent majority wasn’t. Until that point, “WE WIN 4EVAR” and “if you oppose repealing the estate tax, you’re WITH TEH TErRORISTS!” were their entire political schtick.
I thought references to the Left Behind series would have been more appropriate. Or possibly Goosebumps.
The true sign of GOP fail? Spewitt is still shitting out books.
So, who is the ultimate king of wrong, Hewitt or Kristol? So many wrong choices, so little time.
Ah, a showdown — like the ol’ Annie-get-your-gun classic:
anything you get wrong
I can get wronger
I can get anything
wronger than you
No, you can’t.
Yes, I can. No, you can’t.
Yes, I can. No, you can’t.
Yes, I can,
Yes, I can!
Anything you fuck up
I can fuck up more.
Sooner or later,
We’re all really fucked.
etc. etc. Feel free to, you know, wing it and sing it.
Hewitt’s pubs are nothing more than Wingnut Welfare. Scaife just buys up thousands and thousands of these to give away, warehouse, and to line his bunker.
No one reads this crap. Well, except for Really Whacked Wingnuts.
It’s clear that he(Scaife) did that with Doughy’s LF insult. Hewitt couldn’t sell a hundred copies at his family reunion.
His book output is like a Play-Doh Fun Factory in the shape of a pair of buttocks–he just cranks it out.
Bulk purchase of books we need to investigate.
Depressingly enough, Liberal Fascism is popular among those wingnuts who consider themselves intellectuals. And yes, they exist. They’re no less crazy than the rest of the wingnuts, but they use bigger words. Often inappropriately, true, but it’s not like their audience will ever call them on it.
I’m also, for whatever it’s worth, related to people who own–and read–”If It’s Not Close”. Depressing, really.
Republican Party 1.0 ~ Abraham Lincoln~ “freed slaves” 14th, 15th Amendments
Republican Party 2.0~Theodore Roosevelt ~ progressive, environmentalist, regulation of corporations, food and workplace safety
Republican Party 3.0~ Ike “Beware the military-industrial complex”
***********
Republican Party 4.0 ~ Nixon [replaced all older models; Watergate; Middle East oil crisis]
Republican Party 4.2~Ford [Presidents are “above the law”; stagflation]
Republican Party 4.4~ Reagan-Bush 41 [Iran-Contra; Lebanon; unified Hezbollah]
Republican Party 4.6~ Gingrich [Contract on America]
Republican Party 4.8-4.9 Dubya [’nuff said]
That’s a rather unfair comparison. At leas Shyamalan made one decent movie.
I see braindead people.
