Yeah, that hit me Tuesday afternoon. I didn’t connect on ‘first Hawaiian President’ until I heard it on NPR this morning.

It took us Arkansans over 150 years to get one in. Dang Hawaiians did it in 50.

Oh, my. This is the third president in a row that is younger than I, but at least the last two were just slightly so. This president is only four years older than my son. Thanks for making me think of that.

It is, however, really cool that he is our first Hawaiian president. I like that.
