Case in point, any movie featuring a wedding and/or Matthew McConaughey.</p> <p>Back to “Big Hollywood”, I started reading the comments in Mike Long’s review of <i>Doubt</i> and couldn’t resist reading all the way through. Some of them made Debbie Schlussel look like James Agee.</p> <p>According to the first commenter, the casting ruined the movie because “Blacks can NEVER be wrong or bad in movies - especially against someone White”. Which doesn’t even make sense because it wasn’t a case of the black kid’s word against the priest’s. But I suspect a lot of what this gent writes doesn’t make sense.</p> <p>Or this one: the commenter liked the movie because the “conservative battle ax … turns out to be the hero over the hippy dippy lefty priest”. Back to “Big Hollywood”, I started reading the comments in Mike Long’s review of Doubt and couldn’t resist reading all the way through. Some of them made Debbie Schlussel look like James Agee.
