The reason Big Hollywood must be mocked to within an inch of its life is because, if we allow its idiocy to go unchallenged, people like Michael Medved might start quoting the site approvingly on radio, then his peeps in the TV biz, like Fox, will follow suit, and the next thing we know Entertainment Weekly will be citing its wisdom in stories. Shortly thereafter, a remake of “Red Dawn” starring Bruce Willis, Ron Silver and Victoria Jackson becomes a summer tentpole flick helmed by Spielberg. At which point those of us with two brain cells left to rub together will be trying to figure out how this great big bucket of fail suddenly became a repository of wisdom regarding the entertainment industry. First they came for Michael Moore, and no one spoke up because Netflix still had all the DVDs…..

To me, what really sets this site apart from other crazy wingnut fare is, for the life of me, I can’t figure out the point of 90% of the stories. Malkin, Beck, etc, at least have an insane focus on some made up issue. These are like diary entries from some 13 year old social outcast. For instance, the Jeffrey Jena diatribe on Kennedy. The entire blurb basically says, yes, she’s rich. The money quote comes at the end.

I’m sure Caroline Bouvier Kennedy Schlossberg believes someone owes her a serious apology. She may be right but that line starts right behind Sarah Palin.

Soooo, the point of this story is, Jena is sure Kennedy believes she is owed an apology, though she hasn’t asked for one, but if she did whine about it (which he is sure she wants to) then get in line behind Palin who has actually been whining incessently.

I think I need an extra cup of scotch on my Kix this morning.
