We were listening to Raphael Saadiq (warning: sound) tonight and one of the songs reminded us of Want Ads but we couldn’t remember who did it (The Three Degrees? No. Freda Payne. Nope. Taylor Hicks? Oh, fuck off.) Found it.

BTW, Saadiq at San Diego HOB 2/28. Smoove.

I heard that song yesterday while having lunch at Wendy’s. They also played The Hustle by Van McCoy, Rock Steady by Aretha, and David Bowie’s absolutely horridly shitty version of Let’s Spend The Night Together.
