Once again, President Obama appears to be guilty of the sins of which his predecessor was accused, in many cases by those who would come to support the Democrat.
Commenting on the president’s praising the “patriotism” of Republicans backing a compromise “stimulus” package, John Hinderaker asks:
So, if the three Republicans who sided with the Democrats in the Senate are “patriotic,” what does that make the rest of the Senate Republicans, or the House Republicans who unanimously voted against the Democrats’ pork-fest? Unpatriotic? Isn’t that a natural inference?
And doesn’t that also mean that the name GayPatriot infers that all of you heterosexual it’s-just-like-Legos missionary-position Quiverfullistas are America-haters secretly plotting to overthrow this great country of ours using your children? I suggest all good Americans keep an eye on little Fabio or Enya if they express an interest in learning to play solitaire.

Actually, it’s even worse than that. What they give a shit about is that they see an economic catastrophe as an opportunity to gain political advantage without having to change their message of tribal hatred and fear.
All they have to do is whatever they can to make America an economic basket case, obstructing any effective effort to improve the situation, and in the 2010 midterms and the 2012 General they can continue to be the party of southern white nutjobs and still have a chance to do well.
I dunno about you, but it makes me proud to live in the greatest country in the history of the world…

That idiot who just gave birth to octuplets through in vitro fertilization was clearly inspired by all of the attention (and free products) the Duggars have been getting for years, even befoe the reality show. There was a clip of an interview with her on Countdown Friday night, and she clearly needs mental help. Her children need for her to get mental help. And I need for her and the Duggars to go away, so I never need to read about them again.
Yep, Hinderaker nails it. They are unpatriotic. Moreover they are a bunch of vicious ideologues with the moral sense of middle school bullies and behavior to match. Calling them “worthless fucktards” does a disservice to worthless fucktards everywhere.
How that woman’s uterus has not yet prolapsed is a mystery to me.
