Here in Peoria, our local Congressman, Aaron Schock, took a swing at the administration for the closing of local Chrysler dealerships, although what that meant in practice is that one of the local megadealers has to delete one of the logos from his sign and dump the cars that weren’t moving anyway. Schock, of course, gets to avoid having to talk about his position on gay marriage.

Apart from that, will someone please remind me again what the MSM’s job is these days? I mean, I know it used to be journalamism and research-y stuff, but that was back when I was a puppy and the world was printed in black & white. Nowadays is seems to consist mainly of stenography and kissing Village butt.

I think their plan will backfire. I mean, I fail to see how they’ll do that any better if they’re distracted with exciting stories about “Michelle Obama’s Love Affair with a Chinese Swine-Flu Spreader” — the MSM is not exactly known for scrutinizing the validity of Drudge’s stuff, so won’t the fourth estate be too busy talking the sordid “facts” to actually run with the desired underlying story about horrors of Obama’s Black Socialist Revolution?
