As expected, professional Ragebeast Michelle Malkin comes to the defense of the 24/7 Hatefest that is modern conservatism and provides a handy list of bullet points for the Solve A Problem With A Bullet crowd:
*Late-term abortion doctor George Tiller was gunned down at his church in Kansas Sunday morning in a thoroughly evil, cold-blooded act of domestic terrorism. Yes, terrorism. Not “extremism.” Interesting how the t-word has been rediscovered.
*Every mainstream pro-life organization has unequivocally condemned the killing.
I repeat: Every mainstream pro-life organization has unequivocally condemned the killing.
*Princeton University professor Robert P. George is right about this: “Whoever murdered George Tiller has done a gravely wicked thing. The evil of this action is in no way diminished by the blood George Tiller had on his own hands. No private individual had the right to execute judgment against him. We are a nation of laws. Lawless violence breeds only more lawless violence.”
*President Obama is right about this: “However profound our differences as Americans over difficult issues such as abortion, they cannot be resolved by heinous acts of violence.”
*Unfortunately, some are not content to leave it at that for now. They fail to respect that there is a proper time and place to indulge in political battle.
Obviously, since she has taken the rare step of agreeing with President Acorn Muslim Blackamoor Obama, she gives the impression of feeling a teensy-weensy bit guilty this morning but, no, not really. She’s just laying down the groundwork for her couch-cushion fort of defense:
Tiller’s family is grieving. Those who have jumped to score political points before Tiller is even buried are no better than the Phelps family thugs of the “Westboro Baptist Church” who respect no bounds of civility.
Unfortunately, it’s too much to ask the cable news networks and hyper-partisan snipers on the Internet to have the decency to restrain themselves.
Prepare for a wall-to-wall onslaught of gleeful finger-pointing on the Left and heated responses on the Right.
This would be the same "civility" and "decency" that Malkin displayed when she stalked the Frost family, or maybe when she published the phone numbers and email addresses of UC Santa Cruz students and, after the students received death threats and asked her to take the information down…she republished them. You know, that kind of "civility" and "decency". The unrepentant kind.
What happened to George Tiller isn’t what happens when you yell "fire" in a crowded theater. It’s what happens when you yell "fire" at a firing range.
People like Michelle Malkin understand that; they know what will happen.
They just don’t care.

Oh, she cares, alright. People like her see this as a holy war-a war to protect and avenge the “pre-born.” There’s no middle ground, no “reasonable people can reasonably disagree,” no compromise. Michelle’s job (right wing screechhag) depends on manufacturing outrage, hate and death.
People like her, O’Reilly, Terry, Limbaugh, etc. are accessories to murder. They are just as responsible for Tiller’s killing as Scott Roeder.
Typical modus operandi from her. Make a few bland, concillitory comments, then claim the real issue is the coming accusatory outrage from the left.
Yawn. Another right wing hate crime, nothing to see here.
When is anchor baby reporting to her internment camp? She looks North Korean to me, and we are at warrrrrrrrr!
Fuck her.
I would like to keep trying to think that I am going to wake up tomorrow to find that people like Malkin really do not believe nonsense like this. But, alas, that is how they make their money. And, they do keep making money, so that tomorrow will never come. As typified in your previous post on the idiot son of the Kristol family and this one on the right’s clumsy cheerleader, there will always be that box of dumb hammers willing to take say this nonsense because the benjamins they get in return are their reward. They think of nothing else – not principle, not morals, just the bucks and how to capitalize on a tragedy/dangerous situation to make a few more with preposterous comments such as these. Think I will go take a hike in the mountains and enjoy the intelligence of nature.
Really? In connection with Tiller’s murder, she used this phrase:
Wow. Just, wow.
Shorter MichMalk: “B-b-b-but we own that word! No fair!”
If she means to exclude Randall Terry from the mainstream of the pro-life cause I’m all over it. Probably most pro-lifers don’t donate to support some serial-adulterer drug casualty used car dealer’s trophy wife in a half million dollar house.
Unfortunately, her beloved “MSM” appears to have missed the point, since he (and his “we wanted a lawful execution” press release) been quoted in almost eight hundred articles in the past 24 hours (and besides, dude, National Press Club).
So there you go, Ms. Maglagang: your team is being prominently represented by someone who applauds what happened to Dr. Tiller. As a matter of fact, he’s gleefully engaging in a hyper-partisan wall-to-wall onslaught of finger-pointing.
And all you have to do is condemn him. In detail. In no uncertain words.
It’s the decent thing to do. I won’t hold my breath.
Wait, so when someone is murdered for explicitly political reasons is *not* the time for others, who were clearly intended to be intimidated into abandoning an explicitly political position, to engage in a political battle?
You know, I grew up with “Two wrongs don’t make a right”, but it was usually not being uttered by someone who was using it as an excuse to do you a wrong while insisting you have no right to fight back.
I read some red state, so just to be clear – Dr. Tiller was gunned down at his place of diety praise and community good works … because Bill Ayers is a terrorist who gave money to President Obama.
It drives me crazy that people on the right do not defend their actions as right or wrong. They simply say “but the left does it.” Who gives a rat’s ass who did what in the past? The debate should be whether an action is right or wrong. It’s the “debate” part, huh? No brainy to thinky with, thus not much good at debating.
As we say in the South – Bless their hearts.
Well done – she preemptively lays claim to victim status.
But she’s not being partisan or anything.
I think all Malkin and her supporters are saying is that it would be wrong for the Obama administration to take the murder of a doctor who provides abortions by a radical anti-abortion activist to be some kind of proof that radical anti-abortion activists are a threat to doctors who provide abortions. That’s silly.
Somebody pulled her string and she’s playing the message.
Talk about missing the point. Not one of the mainstream right-to-life organizations has said a word about the plight of women who are pregnant with fetuses that cannot live after birth or whose health is endangered by their pregnancy. Not one word.
According to the news stories, Tiller was one of only three doctors who provided abortions for women in this situation. What about the patients who were scheduled for abortions this week? Next week? Who cares if they die or the babies are born to suffer for a few hours or months and die? Not the likes of Malkin.
She will squeeze out a crocodile tear for Tiller and his family, but gives not a thought to the families who made a very difficult decision to end a disastrous pregnancy and are now in a very tough place.
I don’t believe she assumes these babies will be born healthy or that the mothers will survive the births without losing their own health. I don’t believe she thinks about it AT ALL. It’s not a problem she ever faced, so it’s not a problem.
Time to hammer the cheerleaders. You don’t get to hide behind the fig leaf of barely coded hate speech in civil court. Falafel boy, Mailkin, and company need to lose some eight figure decisions to help them understand that they are the stupid assholes, not the rest of the world.
Except… who’s going to hammer them other than us Dirty Fucking Hippies? The MSM will continue to fellate O’Reilly, Coulter & Co. and allow the Wurlitzer to carry their hate speech far and wide. There’s the problem: no matter how much they fuck up and cause people to die, they’ll still be part of the Village in-crowd.
Actually, this is total projection. Who on the left is “gleeful” about this event? The glee is all on the extreme right, and she can see it. Projection.
Malkin manipulatively conveys her point of view about abortion – and judgement of the murdered doctor – while wagging her finger saying don’t do this.
Prepare for whitewashed hagiographies of Tiller’s career as an abortionist., she says.
Obviously I won’t need to prepare now that she’s launched this doozy of a loaded statement.
Malkkkin should;
A – Retry
B – Fail
C – Abort
?
I wonder what Michelle Malkin would be saying if her daddy,a physician, was killed at church on a Sunday by a nutcase who didn’t like that her daddy prescribed plain regular old birth control(not plan B?
So, what did O’Reilly have to say tonight? Anyone watch (so we won’t have to)?
They convince a lot of low-information people, because those people don’t use other sources of information.
There was a guy at work today talking about how we need an average family of 2.6-something children to ‘preserve culture’ and ‘maintain civilization’. I said that culture is not genetic, and that you can maintain a population with two children per family just fine. It sounds like another right-wing thing. (Oh, the guy talking about it also was sure Obama is a Muslim because Obama went to a madrassa as a kid. The guy is from the Phillipines. Go figure ….)
I wonder what would happen if I published the home addresses and phone numbers of Malkin, O’Reilly, and their sociopathic ilk?
preserve culture? maintain civilization?
Republicans can do that?
Since you brought it up….just a fact question? Is that really her picture? I mean, does she really look like that? I’ve never had the pleasure myself, so mere curiosity. Thanks
ix-nay on the eerleaders-chay. TBogg still has that video, and he isn’t afraid to use it.
She really does look like that – but you need to see the picture with her pom-poms.
O Dear, I really think Ive seen enough. But maybe I will be tempted.
Any word about OReilly? Could he feel ashamed?
Malkin should seek out another plastic surgeon, that face lift sure looks painful.
watertiger is upstairs at the Mothership!
Late Night: Words Certainly Can Kill.
Maybe, if you caught him with his pants off. More than likely, he’d sic his pet security guards on you instead. These people hate being embarrassed, to the point of serious denial that they ever do anything embarrassing or shameful, even when it’s caught on video.
The thing about what Malkin is saying is: She’s correct. Her pleas for civility are not without merit. However, she, herself, is completely without merit, for the hypocritical reasons given.
This ‘blog post is trying to teach Malkin a lesson. Malkin will never learn this lesson if she hasn’t figured it out by now.
Yes, indeed. In much the same way that Capt. Renault condemned gambling at Rick’s Café.
